 David Wade brings his expertise in software systems
to identification software, where he leads a
multinational team developing voter identification solutions.
A Microsoft Certified Application Developer, Mr. Wade is an active leader at developer events in the Washington, DC area.
David Wade's experience before coming to Votident includes:
- Providing communication support to the Walter-Reed Commission in its evaluation of the treatment of wounded Iraq war veterans.
- Leading a data team converting 1.5 million government credit cards from American Express to the Bank of America database formats.
- Architecting the loan document management system for the Inter-American Development Bank.
- Developing an e-commerce solution for Quincy Jones' music store
- Guiding the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division through a complete web site revision.

Hans Vakkur, Vice-President International Sales
Mr. Vakkur heads up the international sales department.
Before coming to Votident, Mr. Vakkur:
- Worked with Overseas Development Consultants Inc, where he was responsible
for finding clients globally for the sale of industrial equipment such as port cranes
and Caterpillar machinery for the pre-manufactured housing and petroleum industry.
- Worked for Estonian-American Ventures leading the team
assisting financial institutions seeking clients in FSU
countries.

test driven development.
In pair programming, two developers work together to ensure the highest quality
standards.
Test Driven Development is a development method in which developers
first create tests, then write the production code necessary to pass the tests.
As a result, our developers write good code from start so
mistakes will not have to be fixed later, saving both time and money.
- Solutions are custom developed in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
- Solutions implement Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as the database backend.
- All software changes and updates are documented in a continious quality assurance review
To ensure security Votident software uses
AES 256 encryption. This encryption was approved by the United States Government
National Institute of Standards
and Technology after a 5 year review.
Votident uses AES 256 because it is
the strongest encryption available. Each Votident application generates a unique
security key ensuring that no two machines are alike. Votident stores user passwords
using the SHA512 hashing algorithm.
